Questions?
- Do I need to register to attend this meeting?
Yes. Registration is required of all meeting participants. If you have questions regarding the online registration form, please contact Jerry Ockfen, jockfen@fhcrc.org. Please note, if you do not register by the cut-off date, you will have an opportunity to register on site during the meeting at the Registration Desk, located in the main promenade.
- Is there a registration fee?
No. There is no fee associated with registering for this meeting.
- Am I responsible for making my own travel and hotel arrangements?
Yes, unless otherwise informed.
- How can I book accommodation in Washington, DC?

- How do I get an invitation letter for my VISA applications?
Letters of invitation will only be issued to those attendees who have registered. Please contact Marissa McGregor, mmcgrego@fhcrc.org or 206.667.1963 to request a letter of invitation. Attendees are strongly encouraged to apply for their visa as soon as possible, to ensure that it is issued on time.
- What languages will be used at the meeting?
The official language of the meeting is English however the plenary sessions and most Community sessions will be interpreted into Spanish.
- Will there be a meeting evaluation?
As in the past years, the HVTN Conference will be evaluated to assess its strengths and weaknesses. The evaluation will be conducted by the HVTN Conference and Events Team. An electronic survey will be emailed to all attendees following the conclusion of the meeting.
